Question: What’s better than getting an iPod?

Answer: Getting an iPod for free :-)

Took part in some survey couple of months back. Seems like mine was one of the 1st 100 entries and got a silver 2GB 2nd Generation iPod Nano in the ensuing lucky draw.

We don’t have a very good collection of music at home so am still not making much use of the iPod. Hope to correct that shortly.

  1. Hey that’s cool. Is this Hey that’s cool. Is this that TCS survey you are talking about? Could you check if I was there by any chance ;). BTW, did you get your backpack from securewars? I wrote to them a couple of times but …nothing.

  2. Yup. Office survey! That’s the best part :-) Yup, it was indeed the office survey. No chance of checking buddy, they just contacted me out of the blue, asked me for my address, and shipped me the gift. No idea who else won.

Yaar, I totally forgot about the backpack! The distribution of prizes was handled by some IT company (forgot which). Very poorly managed contest, I don’t have any hopes of getting the backpack.

  3. The company’s name was The company’s name was Erfolg… btw it took some time but I got my backpack and the other gifts I had won…

  4. I still haven’t recieved my backpack It was a badly managed for sure. The USB kit I received is useful but flimsy (as you said, Varun). And now, I really need a backpack now that I am lugging around an IBM T43 (cheapskates!).

  5. Backpack will be just a backpack Hey… the backpack if we do get one (which I am sure we won’t) will be a low-quality one I am sure. No way you can carry around a laptop in that… anyways the contest itself was so low-key, poorly managed and boring that I basically just gave up thinking about the gifts. Maybe next year they will do it better.
